When heat is applied to a substance can a chemical reaction occur?
4vir4ik [10]

Answer:

Hello! Your answer would be, BELOW

Explanation:

Application of heat to certain substances causes only physical changes in which no new substance or substances are formed. Application of heat to some substances causes chemical changes, or chemical reactions, in which one or more new substances are formed, with different properties from the original. Heat energy manifests itself as the random jostling motions of molecules in matter; as the temperature of a substance increases, its molecules vibrate and bounce with more energy and at faster speeds.

Congress as an institution typically has very low public opinion ratings
erastova [34]

The second part of this question (<em>You must include an evaluation of YOUR congressional representative with at least TWO specific examples of why you approve or disapprove of his/her performance</em>) is a personal task, and only you can complete it. However, we are able to provide some assistance with the first part.

It is true that Congress typically has a very low public opinion rating, while at the same time people rate their individual representatives highly. The main reason for this is the fact that people tend to think of their individual representatives as personally closer to them.

A person's representative tends to come from the same city or neighbourhood as the voter. Moreover, he tends to campaign in this area. Therefore, the voter is able to see his face, hear his voice and listen to his platform often. This creates a sense of trust and a connection between representative and voter. Moreover, as the voter himself votes the representative in, he is also more likely to be hopeful about his performance. All of these factors lead to people rating their own individual representatives more highly than Congress itself.

1. Define noun phrase.
DiKsa [7]

1. A noun phrase, or nominal (phrase), is a phrase that has a noun or pronoun as its head or performs the same grammatical function as a noun.

2. Noun phrases consist of a noun and all of its modifiers. Modifiers can include adjectives, articles, participles, or possessive nouns and pronouns, just to name a few. Noun phrases can function as any noun in the sentence, whether as subjects, objects, or subject complements.

3. Noun phrases are simply nouns with modifiers. Just as nouns can act as subjects, objects and prepositional objects, so can noun phrases. Similarly, noun phrases can also work in a sentence as adjectives, participles, infinitives, and prepositional or absolute phrases.

4. Rule: When an appositive is essential to the meaning of the noun it belongs to, don't use commas. When the noun preceding the appositive provides sufficient identification on its own, use commas around the appositive. Example: Jorge Torres, our senator, was born in California.

5. a group of words including a verb and its complements, objects, or other modifiers that functions syntactically as a verb. In English a verb phrase combines with a noun or noun phrase acting as subject to form a simple sentence.

6. To be at your best, get enough sleep at night and take care of yourself physically and mentally.

If you want a nice job, it's best that you have some sort of experience and receive training in order to perform well.

During the pandemic, some people have to do their work from home, being for school or a job.

In order to master something, you must practice it and gain experience.
