Answer: The answer is six.

Step-by-step explanation:  There are six important properties of a parallelogram. Please see the attached figure. The properties are as follows :

(i) The opposite sides of a parallelogram are parallel and congruent, i.e., PQ║RS, QR║PS, PQ ≅ RS and QR ≅ PS.

(ii) The opposite angles of a parallelogram are congruent, i.e., ∠P = ∠R and ∠Q = ∠S.

(iii) The diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other, i.e., OP = OR and OQ = OS.

(iv) Consecutive angles of a parallelogram are supplementary. For example, ∠P + ∠Q = 180°.

(v) If one angles of a parallelogram is 90°, then all the angles are 90°.

(vi) Each diagonal of a parallelogram separates it into two congruent triangles. For example, ΔPQR ≅ ΔSQR.

What is the median. I have 3 more questions that have to deal with the median.
Rom4ik [11]

Answer:

<h2><u>47.5</u></h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

Median - The middle number in a list of numbers starting from least to greatest.

Knowing this, we can start.

The first step is to rewrite all the numbers from least to greatest

15, 19, 28, 32, 43, 52, 66, 72, 72, 81

Now cross off a number from the least and greatest until there is 1 or 2 numbers left

19, 28, 32, 43, 52, 66, 72, 72

28, 32, 43, 52, 66, 72

32, 43, 52, 66

43, 52

If you are left we 1 number, that is your answer. If you are left with 2 numbers, there is an extra step

In the case that you have 2 numbers, you need to add them together, and divide by 2

43 + 52 = 95

95 ÷ 2 = 47.5

Thus 47.5 is our answer

There are 330 walnuts in 6 bags. if each bag has the same number of walnuts, how many walnuts are in 2 bags?
miskamm [114]
Well if 330 are divided equally into 6 than that means there are 55 in each bag and together in 2 bags total there would be 110 so your answer is either 55 or 110

Priya spent 1/2 of the day hiking. she was lost 5/6 of the time that she was hiking.
Lera25 [3.4K]
You will have to get 5/6 of 1/2 so we have to multiply
\frac{5}{6}  \times  \frac{1}{2}  =  \frac{5}{12}
Priya was lost for 5/12 of the day

Determine whether Triangle AWT= UYZ. explain your reasoning
BigorU [14]

Answer: The triangles are congruent by the HL theorem

HL = hypotenuse leg

======================================================

Explanation:

Through the segment addition postulate, we can say:

WZ = WT+TZ

YT = TZ+ZY

Notice how both WZ and YT have TZ as part of their segments.

Since WZ and YT are the same length, we can then say,

WZ = YT

WT+TZ = TZ+ZY

WT = ZY

I used substitution for the second step.

The last step is where I subtracted TZ from both sides, and they canceled out.

---------------------

We have the following info:

  1. WT = ZY  (just found)
  2. AT = UZ (given)
  3. angle AWT = angle UYZ (given)

Normally, the conclusion from here would be "not enough info" because this is a SSA case. Note how the angles are not between the congruent sides. So we wouldn't use SAS.

However, despite us having SSA, it doesn't mean we can't keep going. The reason why is because we have two right triangles. So we can use the HL theorem instead. Statement 1 above refers to the L of HL, while statement 2  is the H.

HL = hypotenuse leg

Again, HL only works for right triangles. It's the only time we can use SSA to prove right triangles are congruent; otherwise, SSA is not a valid congruence theorem.
