X +15 + x + 15 + x + 15 = 3x + 45

divide by 3 from both of them, which eqauls 3(x + 15)

3(x+15)

There are 3 x's which = 3x

there are three 15's which = 15 + 15 + 15 = 45

your answer is 3(x + 15)

hope this helps
