The slope from a table can be found by finding what number keeps adding on new points. (horrible wording sorry) EXAMPLE: x y 0 2 1 4 2 6 3 8 4 10 for the X values it keeps adding by 1 and the Y values keep adding by 2. Since the slope is the change in y over x the slope would be 2/1 therefore simplifying to a slope of 2. To find the y intercept, you have to look for a value in which the X value is 0. From the table, this would be 2 so the y int is (0,2)
