Answer:

A)

The gush of water coming out from the bottom will be stretch out the longest.

This will the followed by the hole above it.

The gush with the least length is the the first one above all.

B)

Water from the bottom hole comes out the fastest because pressure is highest at the bottom.

Why:

Pressure and depth have a relation which is directly proportional. This is due to the greater column of water bearing down on a submerged surface. By comparison, as objects are elevated, and the density decreases, the pressure decreases.

So because pressure is highest at the bottom, it forces water to gush through the holes at a faster rate than the other two above.

Cheers!

The force of gravity is greater at the bottom of the barrel due to the added weight of the water as well.

This is a SIMILE - if words such as 'as' or 'like' are used in order to compare two things (in this case, 'giant rocks with razor edges crouch LIKE a sea monster with wide open jaws'), then it is a simile.

In the wagon where the bread had landed, a battle had ensued. Men were hurling themselves against each other, trampling, tearing
Alekssandra [29.7K]

Answer:

The tone is gloomy and kind of dark. Unleashed, tearing, mauling, battle, possessed ,and sharpening. The tone contributes to the authors viewpoint because he or she makes it a dark and foregoing place that nobody would want to be in.
