Answer:

a. 4 years and 4.22 years

b. -$31,350 and $27,615

c. Project Nuts

Explanation:

a. The formula to compute the payback period is shown below:

= Initial investment ÷ Net cash flow

For project soup, it would be

= $600,000 ÷ $150,000

= 4 years

For project nuts, it would be

= $900,000 ÷ $213,000

= 4.22 years

b. The computation of the Net present value is shown below

= Present value of all yearly cash inflows after applying discount factor - initial investment

For project soup, it would be

= $568,650 - $600,000

= -$31,350

The present value is computed below:

= Annual cash flow × pvifa for 5 years at 10%

= $150,000 × 3.791

= $568,650

For project nuts, it would be

= $927,615 - $900,000

= $27,615

The present value is computed below:

= Annual cash flow × pvifa for 6 years at 10%

= $213,000 × 4.355

= $927,615

Kindly refer pvifa table

c. The project Nuts should be accepted as it has positive net present value.

Sellers allow customers to use credit cards for all of the following reasons: (You may select more than one answer. Single click
Tasya [4]

Answer:

c. seller receives cash sooner than if credit is granted directly to the customers

d. may allow seller to increase sales volume

Explanation:

When a customer uses a credit card, the bank that issued the card pays the seller immediately, and later, the bank recovers the money plus interest from the customer.

So this method allows for a faster collection of cash (basically immediatly) than if the seller granted the credit directly to the customer.

Credit cards also allow seller to increase sales volume because many people lack the cash necessary to pay down the full value of the purchase.

lakkis [162]

Answer:

The correct answer is letter "B": associated with an ability to find a job with relative ease.

Explanation:

Unemployment is the state in which an individual who is able and willing to join the workforce cannot find a job even if that individual is constantly looking for opportunities.

High unemployment rates are typically seen during recessions while the unemployment of a country tends to be low during economic growth. In the last scenario, mainly private investment helps to find a job to be relatively easy.
