Answer:

Chromosomes consists of the constricted DNA associated with the proteins. Different species has different chromosome number. Two main types of chromosomes are heterochromatin and euchromatin.

The human cells contain the 23 pairs of chromosomes or 46 chromosome. If the cell divides by the process of mitosis than the chromosome number will be same in parent as well as the daughter cell. The daughter cell 23 pairs of chromosomes. If the cell divides by the process of mitosis the cell has 23 chromosome number as the meiosis reduces the chromosome number upto half.

explain how the rate at which fossil fuels are transferred into the atmosphere, as shown in the diagram, has altered the carbon
oee [108]

Answer:

Explanation:

Over the past 250 year or two and a half centuries fossil fuels have been burnt at a very fast rate to meet the various human needs. These fossil fuels contains huge amount of carbon dioxide. And when these fossil fuels are burnt in power factories, power plants, cars etc. carbon moves from the fossil to the atmosphere. And since carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas it traps more heat and hence there is a global temperature rise.

It is estimated that every year almost five and a half billion tons of carbon is released by burning fossil fuels. And since this amount of carbon dioxide is very huge for plants to convert all of them into oxygen via photosynthesis it leads to disbalancing in the carbon cycle that is more carbon dioxide is produced than the amount can be utilized which finally leads to rise in Earth's temperature as all of the extra carbondioxide ends up in Trapping more sun light.

snow_tiger [21]

Two ethical issues of using Biotechnology are Affordability and Privacy. Two social issues of Biotechnology are Harm to the environment and Bio-terrorism.

EXPLANATION:

 • The most concerning ethical issue of using biotechnology is the cost and access to new treatments.
 • The drugs that break clots that cause heart attacks, for example, are extremely expensive and so the common people cannot afford them.
 • The second ethical issue is Privacy.
 • The technology can decode the human genome which might reveal the future health information of a person.
 • The first social issue of using biotechnology is the harm to the environment.
 • It is not sure how will the ecosystem react when a new organism is introduced in the ecosystem.
 • Another social issue is that terrorists might make new superbugs or infectious viruses, using biotechnology, which might not have any cure.
