Answer:

12508 pounds

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that

Weight of a  male elephant=6708 pounds

Weight of a female elephant=5823 pounds

We have to find the sum of weight of two elephants

Weight of  a female elephant=5823 pounds=5800 (Nearest hundred)

If tens place is less than 5 then the hundred place remain same and digits on left side of a hundred place remain same and digits on right side of hundred place replace by zero.

Therefore, weight of a female elephant=5800(nearest hundred)

Sum of weight of two elephants=6708+5800=12508 pounds

Hence, the total weight of the two elephants=12508 pounds.

If the perimeter of a square is 5 feet now many Inches long is each side of the square
gogolik [260]

Answer:

Well since we know that the perimeter of a square is four times the length of one of its sides. We just have to divide 5 by 4 to get the length of one side:

5feet /4 sides = 1.25 feet

And to finish off, we have to convert feet to inches:

1 foot      = 12 inches

1.25 feet    x inches

x inches = 12 inches x 1.25 feet ÷ 1 foot

x inches = 15 inches

Therefore, each side is 15 inches long.

Hope this helps!
