The answer in here is Na+. We know this because a cell membrane is non-polar which means that polar molecules or charged particles (ions) will not be able to go through without a channel. Likewise, small non-polar molecules will be able to diffuse without a channel - straight through the membrane. That is why the best option is Na+

storchak [24]
Air moves into the lungs when the air pressure in the lungs is lower than the air pressure outside of the lungs. This occurs when the muscels of the diaphragm contract.

You can see this by breathing in and out deeply. When you breath in you can feel your chest being pushed up and out by your diaphragm. The reason the pressure in the chest is lower is that when you breathe in you are increasing the volume of your chest. As there is the same amount of air in your chest the pressure decreases.

What does the polarity of the water molecule enable it to do
Fofino [41]
The polarity of water allows it to dissociate ionic and other polar compounds, thus allowing many important chemical reactions to occur. Those reactions are called aqueous reactions. Most of the reactions that sustain life are aqueous with water acting as the "universal solvent".
