Although there is not really information that is unbiased because when the source is a person, it is practically impossible to be 100% objective, you still have to be sure about the accuracy of the information. If the information is first handed, you can actually place it in a larger historical context and even analyze how the biased opinion tells you even more about that moment in history. Pictures and documents tend to be much more reliable than a letter of someone who heard something and is gossiping with an aunt.
