Vitamin D is a commonly under-consumed nutrient. A long term consequence of poor diet could be; a. Stress b. over tired/lack of deep sleep c. capacity to perform tasks or complex work d. increased risk of developing severe health issues (diabetes, etc) e. increased risk of obesity in certain circumstances. Two additional aspects of unhealthy lifestyle that involve nutrition could be: a. Lack of sleep - sleep, specifically REM or deep sleep regulates things like metabolism and digestion. If you throw that off by lack of sleep, you could unintentionally affect your ability to digest nutrients efficiently. b. Lack of exercise - Without increasing your resting heart rate, relatively frequently, this can lead to thickening of the artery walls, or lead to muscle atrophy which will eventually limit your ability to participate in moderately difficult tasks such as climbing stairs, etc.
