state managers, governors are responsible for implementing state laws and overseeing the operation of the state executive branch. As state leaders, governors advance and pursue new and revised policies and programs using a variety of tools, among them executive orders, executive budgets, and legislative proposals and vetoes.

Governors carry out their management and leadership responsibilities and objectives with the support and assistance of department and agency heads, many of whom they are empowered to appoint. A majority of governors have the authority to appoint state court judges as well, in most cases from a list of names submitted by a nominations committee.

Damage to which site would affect projections using the neurotransmitter norepinephrine?
lana [24]

Answer:

Damage to the A. Locus coeruleus would affect projections using the neurotransmitter norepinephrine.

Explanation:

The locus coeruleus is a part of the brain which is primarily composed of noradrenergic cells. Its main functions are related to an individual's physical responses to fear and stress.

It is the main source of norepinephrine, since it is in charge of the responses to stress and fear such as increased heart rate and blood pressure, activation of glucose release so the individual has more energy and direction of more blood to go where needed, decreasing it in places where it is not necessary for the moment, such as the digestive system.

Damage to it would affect this neurotransmitter's projections.

Rom4ik [11]

Answer:

Ceiling effect

Explanation:

Full question

Hannah wants to see if her new technique of ping-pong playing can increase one's ping-pong performance. She asks the U.S. Olympic ping-pong team to work with her. Half of the U.S Olympic team is randomly assigned to be taught by the new style, the experimental group, and the other randomly assigned half are not, the control group. Her technique does not significantly increase the performance of the experimental group compared to the control group, perhaps because they are already so good at the sport. This could be an example of

a. the need for matching groups.

b. a ceiling effect.

c. the need for determining initial comparability.

d. an internally invalid study.* .

Ceiling effect

In Hannah case the experimental group and the control group was pretty much not significantly different because both groups were already good at the sport. Her experiment couldnt function properly because there is no accuracy to the test since both groups perform well, this is known as a ceiling effect

The term ceiling effect is a measurement limitation that occurs when the highest possible score or close to the highest score on a test or measurement instrument is reached, thereby decreasing the likelihood that the testing instrument has accurately measured the intended group.

The most prevalent attachment style among u.s. infants is the _____ attachment style.
harkovskaia [24]

The most prevalent attachment style among u.s. infants is the secure attachment style.

Attachment styles theory outlines how your bond with your primary caregivers sets the foundation for the way you navigate relationships during life. Attachment styles or types are characterized by using the behavior exhibited within a relationship, especially when that relationship is threatened. Consistent with the idea, there are 4 types of attachment styles:

 • Secure
 • Avoidant (aka dismissive, or anxious-avoidant in kids)
 • Anxious (aka preoccupied, or anxious-ambivalent in children)
 • Disorganized (aka frightened-avoidant in kids)

The secure attachment style is the most common type of attachment in western society. research suggests that around 66% of the US population is securely connected. Humans who've developed this kind of attachment are self-contented, social, warm, and easy to connect to.
