To find the median, we order all the values from least to greatest and pick out the middle one:
6, 8, 9, 18, 18, 18

Since there’s an even amount of numbers, there the real median can be found by taking the mean of the two values:
(9 + 18) / 2 = 13.5

To find the mean of the whole data set, we add all the numbers together and divide by the amount of numbers there are:
(6 + 8 + 9 + 18 + 18 + 18) / 6
= 77 / 6
= 12.8 (rounded to the tenth)

So the MEDIAN is 13.5 hours, and the MEAN is 12.8 hours! :)

Converting (x - 4)^2 + y^2 = 16 into polar form
dimulka [17.4K]

In this case, we'll have to carry out several steps to find the solution.

Step 01:

Data:

(x - 4)² + y² = 16

Step 02:

polar form:

x = r cos (θ)

y = r sin (θ)

(r cos (θ) - 4 )² + (r sin (θ))² = 16

(r cos θ - 4)² + r² sin² θ = 16

r (r - 8 cos (θ)) = 0

r = 8 cos θ

The answer is:

r = 8 cos θ

5 1/2+ 3 2/3+ 1 4/5
Mazyrski [523]

Answer:

10\frac{29}{30}

Step-by-step explanation:

5\frac{1}{2} +3\frac{2}{3} +1\frac{4}{5}

Let us group the integers and the fractions.

5\frac{1}{2} +3\frac{2}{3} +1\frac{4}{5} = (5+3+1)+(\frac{1}{2} +\frac{2}{3}+\frac{4}{5}  )

= 9+\frac{15+20+24}{30}

= 9+\frac{59}{30}

=9+1\frac{29}{30}

=10\frac{29}{30}

How many 600 ml bottles can be filled from 6 letres
Tomtit [17]
It is important to check all the vital information’s given in the question. <span>1 liter = 1000 ml
Then 6 liters = (1000 * 6) ml
                     = 6000 ml
Now
600 ml is the holding capacity of = 1 bottle
Then
6000 ml will be the holding capacity for = (1/600) * 6000
                                                               = 10 bottles</span>
So a total of 10 bottles having capacity of 600 ml can be filled with 6 liters. I hope the procedure is easy enough for you to understand.
