√(x - 2)  = √x + 3

squaring both sides

x - 2 = x + 9 + 6√x

6√x = -11

x = (-11/6)^2 =  121/36

if we plug this into the orgiinal equation it does not fit so the answer i s No Solution

A second order differential equation for the function yt is... O a differential equation involving the second power of y a diffe
Neporo4naja [7]

Answer: Hi! A second order differential equation for the function y(t) has the next shape:

y''(t) + p(t)y'(t) + q(t)y(t) = g(t)

Where p(t), q(t) and g(t) are functions of t.

Then a second order differential equation for y is a differential equation involving the second derivative of y.

Is useful to remember that the order in a differential equation tells us the number of derivations involved in our function, for example, a "third order differential equation" is that involving the third derivative of y, but usually for orders above of two, are called "higher orders differential equations"

Solve<br> 3x+1=x+5<br> The solution is x
solong [7]

Answer:

x=2

Step-by-step explanation:

3x+1=x+5

Subtract x from each side to get all the variables on one side

3x-x+1=x-x+5

2x+1 = 5

Subtract 1 from each side to get all the constants on the other side

2x+1-1 = 5-1

2x= 4

Divide each side by 2

2x/2 =4/2

x =2
