∠ ABD = 5(2X+1)
∠ DBC = 3X+6
∠ EBC = Y +135/2

∠ ABD and ∠ DBC are linear pairs
∴ ∠ ABD +∠ DBC = 180
∴ 5(2X+1) + 3X+6 =180
solve for x
∴ x = 13
∴∠ ABD = 5(2X+1) = 5(2*13+1) = 135
 ∠ DBC = 3x+6 = 3*13+6 = 45

∠ ABD and ∠ EBC are vertical angles
∴ ∠ ABD = ∠ EBC = 135
∴ y +135/2 = 135
∴ y = 135/2

The statements that are true:
--------------------------------------
C.) x=13
E.)measure of angle EBC =135
F.) angle DBC and angle EBC are linear pairs

The area of a trapezoid with height z is 20 sq .cm. The length s of the parallel sides are (2z+3) and (6z-1) cm. Find the height
const2013 [10]

Answer:

Area of a trapezoid = ½(a + b)h, where a and b are the lengths of the parallel sides and h is its height.

From your information 20 = ½(2z + 3 + 6z – 1)z = ½(8z + 2)z = z(4z + 1)

Solve 20 = 4z² + z which is 0 = 4z² + z – 20 using the quadratic formula

bonufazy [111]

Answer:

very easy

Step-by-step explanation:

First of all

made a distance between

AB

BC

CD

AD

and diagnals

AC

BD

If the all are equal means it is a square

if diagnols are different means it is rectangle

if diagnals are not equal means it is parallelogram

thats it try your best

you can do it

best of luck
