one

FHS is a straight line.                             Assumption

FHS = 180                                                Straight lines = 180 degrees

NHF + NHS = 180 degrees                     NH cuts the line at H. They add to 180

NHF and NHS are supplementary         Definitition supplementary

Two

ACE and DCB are straight lines              Assumption

They cross at C                                         Given Construction

ACB = DCE                                                Vertical angles are equal

Three

AP = AP                                                    Reflexive property.

Four

A is a right angle

B is a right angle

Right angles = 90 degrees

<A = <B

Five

CM bisects AB               Given

AM = MB                         Definition of bisect.

D. 10.83<br> Math question Don't Guess please show work
konstantin123 [22]
Ok so first we need to work out the vertical line in the middle (ab) using Pythagoras
Square root(7.5^2+4.9^2) to get 8.958794562

Now we know the length of the line ab so we can work out x using trigonometry
Since line ab is opposite the angle and x is adjacent (or not the hypotenuse the slope) the tan rule is used which is tan(0)=o/a
So tan(55.8)=8.9587../a
*a. *a
/tan(55.8). /tan(55.8)
a=8.9587../tan(55.8)
a=6.088390497
a=6.09
x=6.09

What is the area of figure EFGHI below?
Rina8888 [55]
I don't see how any of those answers are correct. I got the answer of 230.65, if that helps at all.  I 14 by 14 to get the area of the square, and multiplied 9.9 and 7 together and divided it by 2 because half of a square is a triangle.  I then added the area of the triangle with the square and got 230.65.
