Answer:

x = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

8x - 3(x - 1) = 2x + 6

simplify

8x - 3x + 3 = 2x + 6

add like terms

5x + 3 = 2x + 6

subtract 2x from both sides

3x + 3 = 6

subtract 3 from both sides

3x = 3

divide by 3

x = 3

Answer:

x= 1

Step-by-step explanation:

open brackets first

8x - 3x + 3 = 2x + 6

Calculate

Alex

Answer:

$878.80

Step-by-step explanation

Multiply 1080 by 0.25 for the 25% which then should equal $810. 810 times 0.08 would equal 64.8. Add the 64.8 to the 810 and it should be $874.80. Hope it helps and is not wrong. :)

Sketch the asymptotes and graph the function y=6/(x-2)+4
lana [24]
There will be a vertical asymptote when the denominator approaches zero. So the vertical asymptote is about the line x=2.

There will be a horizontal asymptote as x approaches ±oo where the y value will approach 4.  So the horizontal asymptote is about the line y=4

Please solve the inequality: -15< or equal to 5(3p-2) and is < and equal to 20
Levart [38]
It has been awhile since I worked with in qualities but I got the answer, -1/3 < or equal to p < or equal to 2. I multiplied the 5 in the middle of the equation with what's in parentheses to get 15p - 10, then I added 10 to both outer sides of the equation and got -5 < or equal to 15p < or equal to 30. Then lastly I divided 15 by -5 and 30! I hope that's right.. I'm sorry if it isn't!
