I believe you would want to rotate 90°, then rotate 180°. In case I'm wrong I graphed it out as well so you can double check. The pic is below (I think).

Y=log(x-3)<br><br>what would be the base?
timurjin [86]
By definition, if :

a^y = b

y = log_a b

<span>We highlight the following elements:

</span><span>a = Base of the logarithm;
b = logarithmand or antilogarithm
y = logarithm</span><span>

Therefore:

</span><span>Note that since the base was not specified, we know that it is equal to 10.
</span>
y = log_a b
y = log_{10} (x-3)
10^y = (x-3)
<span>
Answer:

</span>Base of the logarithm = 10

Which describes the behavior of the function f(x)= tan^-1(x)?
Fantom [35]

Answer:

Third Option

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the function tan(x) is defined as y=\frac{sin(x)}{cos(x)}. Since the denominator is cos(x) then we know that  cos(x)=0  when x=\frac{\pi}{2}

We also know that the division by 0 is not defined. Therefore, the limit of y=tan(x) when "x" tends to \frac{\pi}{2} is infinite.

The function tan^{-1}(x) is the inverse of tan(x)

By definition, if we have a function f(x), its domain will be equal to the range of its inverse function f^{-1}(x). If f(3)=8, then f^{-1}(8)=3

This also happens for the function tan^{-1}(x)

If when x \to \frac{\pi}{2}, tan(x) \to \infty then when x \to \infty, tan^{-1}x \to \frac{\pi}{2}

Then, the answer is:

x \to \infty, f(x) \to \frac{\pi}{2}

Two trains leave the station at the same time, one heading east and the other west. The eastbound train travels at 75 miles per
Alisiya [41]

Let the time = x

Distance = Speed x time

One train is 75x, the other train 85x

Add together to equal total distance:

75x + 85x = 384

Simplify:

160x = 384

Divide both sides by 160:

x = 384 / 160

x = 2.4 hours
