Further Explanation:

According to Environmental Protection Agency, medical waste is fairly very wide “all the waste materials that are generated at the health care facilities, such as clinics, hospitals, physician’s offices, blood banks, dental practices, as well as at the medical research laboratories and facilities. There are many reasons to regulate the biomedical wastes in a proper way:

  • Infection risk–The greater risk of infection can caused by contaminated syringe, infected blood, and surgical blade.
  • Health–Presence of blood drops on the floor is not seemed well. When any one comes into the hospital to visit their friend and family, can easily get infected to disease.
  • Environment pollution–The greater risk of water, soil and air pollution can directly developed from medical waste because the autoclaving or defective incineration can be dangerous.

The laundry or linen employee is majorly responsible for laundering or disposing uniforms that are contaminated with infectious blood or other different infectious materials. These workers wear protective gloves and other appropriate protective equipment before managing the laundry. The laundry and linen employee is a professional, who is trained to work with techniques to handle and dispose infected medical waste.

Mamont248 [21]
Communicable and infectious diseases are those where they can spread from one person to another, from one social group to another. There are many communicable diseases (an example being measles which has made a comeback in the US due to parents not vaccinating their children).
