The unemployment rate is the percentage of the economically active population that is unemployed in a given period of time. This rate is associated with the economic moment of the country, if the economy is heated, the unemployment rate is usually low. If the economy is in recession, stagnant or with low growth, the unemployment rate usually increases.

In the case of the USA, between 2001 and 2007 the unemployment rate fluctuated slightly and around 5%. However, from 2007 onwards the unemployment rate went up slightly, from less than 4.6% to 9%, that is to say practically doubled. This can be explained in part by the crisis that the world experienced in 2008, which began in the USA.

The correct answer is double- blind experiment to minimize research participate bias and researcher bias

Double-blind Experiment is a method of clinical trial carried out on human beings where neither the examine nor the examiner knows what is being used as a variable at any given time. It is commonly used as a criterion for validating quantitative experimental practices in science.

Without this intellectual tool, it would be very difficult to carry out any scientific tests involving human beings with confidence. The purpose of the double-blind test is to avoid any conscious or unconscious interference with the results of an experiment.
