Number 4 I don’t get
denis-greek [22]

Answer:

Well i finally found my 7th grade mathbook when it all clicked in! I felt like i was in 7th grade again oof k enough of me.

Plant B has a proportional relation ship because when you divide

18÷ 1

36÷2

54÷3

they are all 18 therefore Plant B has a proportional relationship

Plant A is not proportional because

when you divide

18÷ 1

36÷ 2

56÷ 3

the first two answers are 18 but the last one is 18.6666 repeating or which is equal to 19 when you round it so thats not proportional

in order for them to be all proportional they all have to have the same answer

I hope you understand this :)

Use substitution to solve the system of equations x= -3y-13 2x+2y=-6
bonufazy [111]

For this case we have a system of two equations with two unknowns:

x = -3y-13\\2x + 2y = -6

To solve we follow the steps below:

We substitute the first equation in the second:

2 (-3y-13) + 2y = -6

We apply distributive property to the terms of parentheses:

-6y-26 + 2y = -6

We add 26 to both sides of the equation:

-6y + 2y = -6 + 26\\-4y = 20\\y = \frac {20} {- 4}\\y = -5

We find the value of x:

x = -3 (-5) -13\\x = 15-13\\x = 2

Answer:

(x, y) :( 2, -5)
