It is the arabic system of numbers. The Roman was the one with Xes and Vs and Is and many other types of markings. Arabs used the 1-9 system, while 0 was taken from the hindu system as it indicates an empty space, so we got the 0-9 system that is commonly used now.

Find interest and amount to be paid on ₹15000 at 5% per annum after 2 years
san4es73 [151]

Answer:

$16537.50

Step-by-step explanation:

Simple Interest Rate Formula: A = P(1 + r)^t

Since we are given P, r, and t, simply plug it in to find your answer:

A = 15000(1 + 0.05)²

A = 15000(1.05)²

A = 15000(1.1025)

A = 16537.5

Alex needs 80 cm of thread for a sewing project. The thread is on a spool with a circumference of 10 cm. How many times must ale
Mrrafil [7]

Answer:

If the spool has 10 cm of circumference or perimeter, this means that 10 cm of thread fits the whole circumference of the spool, which also means that

1 unwind is equivalent to 10 cm of thread.

Then, we have to make the following question:

If 10 cm of thread is equivalent to 1 unwind, to how many unwinds is equivalent 80 cm of thread?

If we want to know how many time does Alex need to unwind the spool, we can use the following relation also called the Rule of Three:

10 cm----1 unwind

80 cm----X unwinds

X=\frac{80cm(1unwind)}{10cm}

X=8unwinds

The answer is:

Alex must unwind the spool 8 times in order to get 80 cm of thread

** WILL GIVE 15 POINTS FOR THIS ONE QUESTION + BRAINLIEST **
densk [106]

Answer:

 x + 4y ≤ 15; y ≥ 0

Step-by-step explanation:

The graph doesn't do a very good job of modeling any of the given equations. However, the equations listed above seem the best fit.

The slope of the top (left) line is negative, so the equation will be of the form ...

 x + 4y = something

When y=0, x=15, so the "something" is expected to be 15.

However, the line appears to go through points (6, 2) and (-2, 4). Both of these points are on the line x + 4y = 14.

The graph is shaded below the line so the values of x and y that are in the shaded area will add to less than 15 (or 14). Hence, the inequality will be ...

 x + 4y ≤ something . . . . . part of the 3rd answer choice

The fact that the shading does not go below y=0 means the other limit is ...

 y ≥ 0 . . . . . part of every answer choice.
