Tropical places are hot because the humidity coming from the moisture of the plants and water are heated by the sun on the top layer of the tropical zone. The climate varies little in rain forest. There are five layers in the tropic trees so it's so thick that barely any light come through. This is also why vines grow up the trees so they can reach the sunlight to get nutrients. Also, the tropics are near the equator and that also causes the heat. The polars are cold because they barely get any sun heat to melt the snow or warm it up. The polars are melting due to certain chemicals and gasses in the atmosphere. also known as global warming. Hope that was helpful!

How is a Supreme Court Judge appointed and confirmed to the bench? How does this process balance power between all three branche
Phoenix [80]

Answer and Explanation:

The Supreme Court judge must be appointed by the president and confirmed by the senators. This allows the executive branch (represented by the president) and the legislative branch (represented by senators) to analyze and inspect the judiciary (represented by the appointed judge.)

Senators must vote for or against the candidate nominated by the president. Before that, they must debate, interview and assess the candidate's qualifications.

Why doesn’t the water vapor just stay over the ocean?
djyliett [7]
For clouds to form, air needs to rise, either on its own by becoming less dense than surrounding air or by being lifted by denser air impinging upon it. On a sunny day, land heats up quickly compared to the lakes. As air near the surface is heated, water vapor rises, cools and condenses into clouds. Over water, this same rapid heating of air does not occur. In fact, the cooler air over water typically moves inland in the form of a sea breeze to replace the air that has been rising over land. This influx of denser air, called a sea breeze front, enhances the lifting that occurs over land and can lead to the formation of more clouds.
