Well a circle has 360 degrees and this question wants the degree of counter-clockwise.

I think first we subtract 69 from 360, since that is the rotation clockwise, to get the angle of rotation.

360 - 69 is 291 degrees

The question is inconsistent. Asked about the angle of reflection above, and the angle of rotation below.

Assuming that question is asking for the single angle of rotation that replaces the double reflection.

The single angle of rotation is double the angle between the reflection axes, namely 2*69=138 degrees. Since the reflections are done in the counter-clockwise direction, so the rotation is in the same sense.

Find the area of the circle to the
nearest tenth. Use 3.14 for it
(11 mm)
Nikolay [14]

Answer:

The area of the circle is 379.94 mm²

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve this problem we need to use the area formula of a circle:

a = area

r = radius = 11 mm

π = 3.14

a = π * r²

we replace with the known values

a = 3.14 * (11 mm)²

a = 3.14 * 121 mm²

a = 379.94 mm²

Round to the nearest tenth

a = 379.94 mm² = 379.9 mm²

The area of the circle is 379.9 mm²

What is the circumference of a circle with radius 2.1 cm? Use > (inserts wavey = sign) 3.14.
Fiesta28 [93]

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for the circumference of a circle is 2*pi*radius

Circumference = 2(3.14)(2.1)

= 13.188cm
