Answer: Option B

Explanation:

Earth is a unique planet with all the conditions that favors living conditions.There are many factors present on earth that favors life on earth but it is not necessary that the other planet will also have such factors affecting life.

Earth has moderate temperature that favors water to be present in liquid state. Else the other plants have no water or have snow.

So, Earth has water and Venus has no water because of temperature.

This reason would mainly be because the "earth would have moderate temperature" as more Venus does not. When having the correct answer moderate temperature, this would allow for the water to be supplied. But, as for it not to have the correct and moderate temperature, this would then allow for it not to have to supply of water.

When a 0.740-g sample of trinitrotoluene (TNT), C7H5N2O6, is burned in a bomb calorimeter, the temperature increases from 23.4 °
Kisachek [45]

Answer:

The answer to your question is: Q = 1383.06 J

Explanation:

Data

mass = 0.740 g

Initial Temperature = 23.4°

Final Temperature = 26.9°

Cp = 534 J/°C

mass of water = 675 ml

Q = ?

Formula

Q = mCpΔT

Process

Q = (0.740)(534) (26.9 - 23.4)

Q = (0.740)(534) (3.5)

Q = 1383.06 J

How does anaerobic respiration occur in yeast ?
slavikrds [6]
When there isn't enough oxygen for Oxidative Phosphorylation to occur, anaerobic respiration occurs. You can't produce ATP across the inner of the mitochondrial membrane or in the Krebs cycle if you don't have Oxidative Phosphorylation. As a result, the yeast employs anaerobic respiration to keep Glycolysis running, resulting in 4 ATP molecules (Net: 2) each Glucose molecule that is converted to Pyruvate.

Allowing NADH to lose hydrogen allows it to be converted to NAD, which can then be utilized to oxidize glucose to pyruvate, which produces ATP, and so on. This is best illustrated in a diagram, in my opinion.

Calculate the pH of a solution that is 0.147M HCl
Mariana [72]

Answer:

pH = 0.832

Explanation:

pH is given by the formula;

pH = - log [H+]

in this case we are given 0.147 M HCl

HCl is a strong acid and therefore completely dissociates to give out H+ ions,

Therefore; [H+] = [HCl] = 0.147 M

Hence;

pH = - log 0.147 M

     = 0.832
