The blood returned to the heart in the right atrium from different parts of the body is deoxygenated, which is transferred to the right ventricle to be pumped to the lungs by the pulmonary artery for removal of the carbon dioxide and oxygenate again the blood.
The right ventricle chamber of the heart pumps back blood to the lungs to take up oxygen. The left part of the heart gets the oxygen rich blood from the lungs and pumps it to all parts of the body.
