Process average or mean is computed by dividing the total of the measurements made on the process by the number of measurements used to compute the total approximates. For example a coach wants to know if football players who warm up before a game will score more points than those who don't warm up. He will break the team up into two groups and make sure each player gets equal time on the field. He will then count how many points each player makes during the game. After counting them, add the scores of the group that he divided and then divided it by the number of player in that group to get an average score on teams that warm up or do not warm up before the game.

Noelle and Micah went to the bank to open new checking accounts. The equation C=0.2n+1.20 represents the monthly cost, C, in dol
Kaylis [27]

Answer:

C = $2.40

n = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

For Noelle,

Equation that represents the monthly cost 'C',

C = 0.2n + 1.20

Here, n = number of checks written in a month

For Micah,

Monthly cost for writing checks 'C' = $1.20

Number of checks 'n' = 3

Since, Cost of writing checks ∝ Number of checks written

C' ∝ n

C' = kn

k = \frac{C'}{n}

Here, k = proportionality constant

For C' = 1.2 and n = 3

k = \frac{1.2}{3}

k = 0.4

Equation will be,

C' = 0.4n

For any month C = C'

Therefore, 0.2n + 1.20 = 0.4n

0.4n - 0.2n = 1.20

0.2n = 1.20

n = 6

Number of checks written by Noelle and Micah = 6

For n = 6,

C = 0.2(6) + 1.20

C = $2.40

Cost of writing checks = $2.40

How do I solve this and what kind of formula is it?
soldier1979 [14.2K]

Answer:

160

Step-by-step explanation:

The measure of an arc is always twice the degree of the corresponding angle inside the circle. For example, the measure of arc DC is just double the measure of angle DOC; angle DOC is 44 degrees, so arc DC must be 88 degrees.

Angle COB is 80 degrees, so arc CB is 160 degrees.

A. 4,-4<br> B. 2,-5<br> C.0,6<br> D.-2,5<br> Which would it be?
kipiarov [429]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

If we insert the original coordinates into the problem, we will find the answer.

(2+2, 1-5)

so, once solved

(4, -4)

remember, adding to X means moving the point right, subtracting to X means moving left.

Adding to Y means moving the point up, subtracting to Y means moving down.

Solve 6 sin((π/5)x)=5 for the four smallest positive solutions
cupoosta [38]

Answer:

1.568, 3.432, 11.568, 13.432

Step-by-step explanation:

Divide equation 6\sin\left(\dfrac{\pi }{5}x\right)=5 by 6:

\sin\left(\dfrac{\pi }{5}x\right)=\dfrac{5}{6}.

Then

\dfrac{\pi }{5}x=(-1)^k\arcsin\left(\dfrac{5}{6}\right)+\pi k,\ k\in Z,

x=(-1)^k\dfrac{5}{\pi }\arcsin\left(\dfrac{5}{6}\right)+5k,\ k\in Z.

Since \arcsin\left(\dfrac{5}{6}\right)\approx 56^{\circ}\approx \dfrac{\pi }{3.2},

four smallest positive solutions are

1. \dfrac{5}{3.2}\approx 1.568,\ k=0;

2. \dfrac{-5}{3.2}+5\approx 3.432,\ k=1;

3. \dfrac{5}{3.2}+10\approx 11.568,\ k=2;

4. \dfrac{-5}{3.2}+15\approx 13.432,\ k=3.

karas jug contains 2 quarts of apple cider.she fills 8 mugs with cider.each mug can hold six three fourths of fluid ounces.how m
bazaltina [42]
So first of all you need to know that in 1 quart there is 31.9995 ounces so since shes says there is 2 quarts lets do the math:)
31.9995 x 2 = 63.999 ounces
now she says she took 8 mugs and filled them up each with 6 and 3/4 ounces. lets do the math:)
6 and 3/4 x 8 = 30 ounces
now lets subtract that from our 2 quarts or 63.999 ounces
63.999 - 30 = 33.999
so we have 33.999 fluid ounces left in the jar:)
hope this helps lol
