Answer:

-the English Bill of Rights of 1689

-the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen

Explanation:

The Bill of Rights of the United States ( 1791) are the first 10 amendments of the Constitution and they undeniably consist of a fundamental mark of the freedom and culture of that country. The basis for the American Bill of Rights were many. Among them, you can certainly include the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen from the French Revolution, The 1689 English Bill of Rights, the 1776 Virginia Declaration of Rights, and the Magna Carta.

Answer:

ABBA

Explanation:

In a poem generally the last word of each line indicates the rhyming scheme. It is denoted be letters ABC etc. The first word of the first line is taken as A in a stanza and the last word of each line is compared with it. If the last word of the second line rhymes with the word in the first line then we write the rhyme scheme as AABB. Where B is the another word rhyming with the last word of the fourth line and so on.

Here sky (A) rhymes with lie (A) and air (B) rhymes with fair (B).

So, the rhyming scheme of this stanza is ABBA.

Bond [772]

                                          London, UK 2016

The quiet dripping disturbed the otherwise silent alley. Caroline stepped to the side to avoid tripping over a man on the street. She opened the door at the end of the street, and stepped inside.

"You're late!" A man's voice said as he stepped from the shadows.

"Sorry, I lost track of time."

"Well, you've got a new case, so I'd stop being late if I were you."He said.

"Jack, I'm never late when I'm on a case."

Jack sighed and handed her an envelope. Caroline opened it and read through it.

"Lucinda Waseford, dead in her parlor room. Let's see, she was found by her sister, stabbed in the back." She read.

"Yup, and you've been hired to investigate!" Jack said, "Now get to it, the sister is expecting you at 2 o'clock."

Turning the corner of Deals Gateway Av. Caroline looked up. Several historic buildings lined the street. 159 Deals Gateway Av. She walked up to a beautiful brick building, and rang the doorbell. A pretty blonde woman with a pleasant face opened the door.

"Oh...You must be the detective. Come on in." She said.

Caroline stepped through the white framed door, but as she stepped in, she noticed a small red mark on the frame.

"Wait a minute! What's this mark?"She cried.

She took a closer look and a similar mark on the hand rail next to the door.

PLEASE HELP 20 POINTSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
Semmy [17]
That’s a question you are suppose to answer personally but people believe that god determines the out come of peoples life’s. It is similar to what the ancient Greeks believe because The Greeks believed in gods and goddesses who, they thought, had control over every part of people's lives. The Ancient Greeks believed that they had to pray to the gods for help and protection, because if the gods were unhappy with someone, then they would punish them. I don’t know if I believe in fate because I never really experienced fate to believe it’s true

Why does author Phillip Hoose include a police report when writing about Claudette Colvin in "It's My Constitutional
Fynjy0 [20]

Answer:

The answer is "because it shares the officer's feelings".

Explanation:

In this question except the above choice, all were correct, that can be defined as follows:

A Nobel prize writer of novels, articles, stories, songs, and reports, Phillip Hoose was its author. Although he very first wrote for adults, and while talking about Claudette Colvin in "It's My Constitutional Right!" he also includes a case file, that provides a true account, and looks legitimate in the book, and it also demonstrates that perhaps the story becomes fictional.
