Answer: The nurse would known that the women will not remember their family and friends.

Explanation:

The Alzheimer can be defined as the the disease in which the person is not able to recognize the family and friends.

The person might not remember the incidents, places, things or anything which needs to be memorized.

Such person must be surrounded with people they are connected to in order to fulfill the demands as they do not remember things by their own.

The nurse knows this much about this disorder.

during reabsorption of water in the proximal convoluted tubule, what causes water to diffuse from the lumen into the interstitia
castortr0y [4]

Water diffuses from the lumen into the interstitial space during the reabsorption of water in the proximal convoluted tubule due to an increase in the interstitium's osmolarity.

Reabsorption is the process by which water and solutes from the PCT are injected into the blood. From the  proximal convoluted tubule, the solutes and water go to the interstitium before entering the peritubular capillaries. The majority of the solutes and 99 percent of the water filtered by the nephron must be reabsorbed; all of these chemicals were "absorbed" in the digestive tract. The peritubular and vasa recta capillaries return reabsorbed fluids and chemicals to the circulation.

Which of the following processes is NOT properly matched with its description?
Viefleur [7K]

Answer:

External respiration: CO2 diffuses into the blood

Explanation:

External respiration is also called the pulmonary gas exchange. It refers to the diffusion of O2 from the air in the alveoli of the lungs to blood in pulmonary capillaries and diffusion of CO2 in the opposite direction from the capillary blood into the alveolar air. External respiration in the lungs is responsible for oxygenation of deoxygenated blood coming from the right side of the heart. The oxygenated blood is then returned to the left side of the heart.

Compare and contrast the function and structure of a compound light micrscope and electron micscrope
galben [10]
The major difference between a light microscope and a electron microscope would be that with the light microscope, a beam of light is used to focus the image. In an electron microscope, a beam of electrons is used to focus the image. Other notable differences would be with the light microscope, your specimens must be very thin; thin enough for light to pass through them. With the EM, you can place whole specimens that can generate 3D images. There is a much more complex specimen preparation process for the EM, where light microscope slide making is fairly simple in comparison. You can view live and wet specimens with a light microscope but you cannot with the EM because an EM requires specimens to be placed in a vacuum chamber. Lastly, the EM is very large and complex to operate, where the light microscope is somewhat portable. Hope this helps!
