Cool air over any pole will either cause a voluntary crash on the floor/ collapse, but it all depends on the strength of its placement in the ground. A weak placement could easily make it collapse, or it could stay still (with perhaps a flag waving in the direction of the wind, on top) of kept firmly onto the ground.
