Autism is a condition that affects how the brain grows. No one knows why some kids have autism. Kids who have autism have trouble with communicating so this makes it difficult for them to share their thoughts and feelings. Also, many kids who have it will repeat words or not talk at all. Kids who have autism may not know how other people feel so they may seem to be in their own world.
