nignag [31]

Glen Murcutt's plan of the Minerals and Mining Museum is long and narrow in order to take advantage of orientation and cross ventilation.

Who is Glen Murcutt's?

Australian architect Glen Marcus Murcutt is the recipient of the 2021 Praemium Imperiale, the 2009 American Institute of Architects Gold Medal, the 1992 Alvar Aalto Medal, and the 2002 Pritzker Architecture Prize. Although he was born in England, Glenn Murcutt (born July 25, 1936) is undoubtedly Australia's most well-known architect.

His practicality extends to the building materials he chooses, limiting his options to those that can be made and supplied locally, such glass, stone, brick, concrete, and corrugated metal.

Describe the difference between the popular vote and the electoral vote.
Nadya [2.5K]
The popular vote is the direct count of votes by the voters. The electoral votes show how states voted for a presidential candidate. This exists to prevent a minor part of the country to choose for the rural areas. Without the electoral votes, winning only New York and California would be almost enough to ensure presidency because of the high amount of people living there.

Can someone please explain the conditions, compromises, and weaknesses of both the Paris Peace Conference and the Treaty of Vers
Sedaia [141]

Answer:

Explanation:

Lets start with the Paris Peace Conference. This event was a meeting of the victorious Allies after World War 1 they where meeting to set the peace terms for the Central Powers. Basically there was representation from nearly 30 different nations, but the big four domonated the floor. The big four includes Great Britain, The United States, France, and Italy. Some of the weaknesses include the fact that the US did join the Allies we didn't feel obligated to stick to the agreements. These four big powers often disagreed and that led to things not getting resolved it just made things worse. Now on to the Treaty of Versailles. This was a very weak treaty. This was because of the absence of great powers like Russia who fought in the war until their government said all done fighting. The basically came up with the League of Nations. Which would act as like a security forum. They thought that this was the way to prevent further wars from happening. I hope this helped a little bit. Feel free to ask me any more questions in the comments if you have any.
