They're just about the same price. The 12 oz box is worth .179 for one oz while the 16 oz is worth .18 for one oz. I guess the 12 oz box would be a better deal. You could save two cents.

What is the value of d if the volume of Prism F is 99 cubic units ?
iren [92.7K]

Answer:

d = 3.46 units

Step-by-step explanation:

The diagram below is a rectangular prism . The volume of the prism is given as  99 units³ .

volume of a rectangular prism = Length × width × height

height = 5.2 units

volume = 99 units³

length = 5.5 units

width = d

let us find the width which is d

volume = L × w × h

99 = 5.5 × d × 5.2

99 = 28.6d

divide both sides by 28.6

d = 99/28.6

d = 3.4615384615

d = 3.46 units

Alicia is sewing a rectangle bedspread that measures 72 inches by 60 inches. The bedspread is red with a gold circle 18 inches i
Natalija [7]

Answer:

4,066\ in^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The area of the bedspread that is red is equal to the area of rectangle minus the area of the circle

step 1

Find the area of rectangle

The area is equal to

A=72*60=4,320\ in^{2}

step 2

Find the area of the circle

A=\pi r^{2}

we have

r=18/2=9\ in ----> the radius is half the diameter

assume

\pi=3.14

substitute

A=(3.14)(9)^{2}

A=254.34\ in^{2}

step 3

Find the area of the bedspread that is red

Find the difference of the areas

4,320\ in^{2}-254.34\ in^{2}=4,066\ in^{2}

Answer:

c.) Congruent

Step-by-step explanation:

If two angles are vertical they are also congruent.When two lines intersect to make an X, angles on opposite sides of the X are called vertical angles. These angles are equal, and here's the official theorem that tells you so. Vertical angles are congruent: If two angles are vertical angles, then they're congruent. (Hope This Helps)
