Nickels = 1/2P
Dimes = 1/2P + 5
Quarters = (1/2P + 5) -6

Therefore...

Nickels = 1/2P = 1/2(24)= 12
Dimes = 12 + 5 = 17
Quarters = 17 - 6 = 11
