Hmmm... That's interesting that you ask that.

Let's pretend that your brother or sister bit you: What would happen? Well for one, it would hurt. Secondly, it will leave marks on your skin from his/her teeth. The worst that could happen is the area that he/she bit you will get infected.

Now, let's pretend that a snake bit you: What would happen? Well some snakes have fangs (the poisonous ones). The fangs are long, sharp, and hollow. Just imagine those fangs breaking the surface of your skin, going deep inside your skin, and releasing venom (Keep in mind that venom is poisonous).

Now, compare the two. Snake bites can kill you, and they hurt worst than if another human bit you (depending on the type of snake). Not all snakes have fangs, only the poisonous ones.

in addition to height and weight, which other characteristics must be taken into account to calculate BMI for children and teens
STatiana [176]
D. The percentage of muscle and body fat is often defined as the mass of the body which is why this is taken into account when measuring the BMI for children and teens. It might not use all of the fat, but some parts of it is needed to measure the mass effectively.

When giving foot vare yoo a diabetic Client, the Home Health Aid should not do what?
riadik2000 [5.3K]

Answer: There are numerous things that a Home Health Aide should not do when giving foot care to a client with diabetes.

Explanation:

Since there were no choices to choose from and so many things that should never be done, I will make a small list of things for you.

1: Never put anything in the client's shoes, as this can cause a blister or cut.

2: Never soak the client's feet in hot water; only use warm water.

3: Never cut the toenails too short and always cut them straight across and file after.

4: Never moisturize between the toes, always moisturize the feet instead.

5: Never treat the calluses or corns yourself, only a DR should perform this.

6: Never scrub  patients' feet with anything other than a sponge or soft cloth. Always pat the feet dry.

Review a fertilizer company has created a new formula for its fertilizer that its scientists think will work better than tfrie o
bezimeni [28]

Answer:

The correct answer will be-

1. independent variable- the type of fertilizer

2. dependent variable- height of the plants

3. control group- The quadrant without any fertilizer treatment

4. Importance of control group- acts as reference to the experimental group as is performed without the key component in natural conditions.

Explanation:

A scientific experiment contains three types of variable and is divided into two types of group of samples.

The variables studied in the experiment are;

1. Independent variable: parameter which changes or is induced to change as per the demand of the experiment like the type of fertilizer in the experiment.

2. Dependent variable: parameter which depends on the independent variable and has to be studied in the experiment like the height or growth of the plant.

3. Control group: the group of samples left untreated in which the key component like fertilizer is not provided. So, the quadrant without any fertilizer treatment will be considered the control group.
