Multiply. 1 1/2⋅3 2/3
soldier1979 [14.2K]

Answer:  The mixed number 5 & 1/2

====================================

Work Shown:

1 & 1/2 = 1 + 1/2 = 2/2 + 1/2 = 3/2

3 & 2/3 = 3 + 2/3 = 9/3 + 2/3 = 11/3

------

Multiplying 1&1/2 with 3&2/3 is the same as multiplying 3/2 and 11/3

(3/2)*(11/3) = (3*11)/(2*3) = 11/2

-------

Use long division to find that 11/2 = 5 & 1/2

Or you can break it up like this

11/2 = (10+1)/2 = 10/2 + 1/2 = 5 + 1/2 = 5 & 1/2

What area of the grass is being watered by this sprinkler
Novay_Z [31]
<h3>♫ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ~Hello There!~ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ♫</h3>

➷ Use this formula:

Area of circle = \pi r^{2}

However, as we are using 3.14 for 'pi', we can write it like this:

Area = (3.14)r^{2}

'r' is the radius which is 12ft

Substitute this value into the equation:

Area = (3.14)12^{2}

Solve:

Area = 452.16

Multiply this value by 0.75 to get the answer:

452.16 x 0.75 = 339.12

339.12 square feet is being watered

➶ Hope This Helps You!

➶ Good Luck (:

Can somebody please balance this !?!
Lera25 [3.4K]
\mathrm{CO}_2 has 2 oxygens for every carbon. \mathrm{CO} will contribute one of each for every molecule. You then have to have an even multiple of \mathrm{CO} molecules to not end up with an odd number of oxygens.

So if you take 2\mathrm{CO}, you should end up with 2 carbons on the RHS. 2\mathrm{CO}_2 then has 4 oxygens. 2 of them are already accounted for, so you just need one \mathrm O_2 to balance out the reaction.

1\mathrm O_2+2\mathrm{CO}\Rightarrow2\mathrm{CO}_2
