Given that Volume of triangular prism = 216 cubic centimetre

Given that Height of the pencil = 12 centimetre

Now we have to find the area of the base of the prism means find the area of triangular part.

Volume of triangular prism is given by formula:

Volume of triangular prism = (Area of base) x (Height of the prism)

now plug the given values

216= (Area of the base) x 12

\frac{216}{12}= Area of the base

18= Area of the base

Hence final answer is 18 square centimetres.

What is the length of the diagonal of the rectangle?
Andreyy89
First we need to find the length and width of the rectangle.

As seen from the graph, the length is 4 units and the width of rectangle is 3 units. The triangle ABD is a Right Angled Triangle with side BD as the diagonal. BD is also the hypotenuse of the Right Angled Triangle, so we can find its length using the Pythagorean Theorem.

Using the theorem we can write:

BD= \sqrt{4^{2} +3^{2} }  \\  \\
BD= \sqrt{25} \\  \\
BD=5

Therefore, the diagonal of the rectangle will be 5 units long.
So, the answer is option C

Which of the following illustrates the truth value of the given conditional statement? If 3 • 2 = 5, then 6 < 0. F F → T T T
nydimaria [60]

Answer:

Option 1. F F → T is the answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

In this question the given conditional statements are

3×2 = 5 then 6 < 0

We have to find the truth value of these conditional statements.

Since multiplication of 3×2 = 6 therefore the truth value of this statement is False.

For the statement 6<0 truth value is false because 6 is always greater than 0.

Now we know in two statements P → Q, if they follow the Implication rule then truth value is False only when P is true and Q is false otherwise in every condition the truth value is True.

Therefore F F → T illustrates the statements of the question.
