Solution :

Given that, Michael's car can travel 25 miles on one gallon of gas.

Suppose, Michael's car travel 50 miles , then \frac{50}{25} gallon of gas would be required.

And if Michael's car travel n miles, then \frac{n}{25} gallon of gas would be required.

We have been given that The cost of per gallon gas is $3.75

then, Cost of \frac{n}{25} gallon of gas = $ 3.75 * \frac{n}{25} .

Hence, The equation that would calculate the total cost of gas, t, based on the number of miles traveled, n is

t = 3.75 *  \frac{n}{25}

Suppose you estimated square root of 12 by averaging a square like rectngle. What would be a reasonable estimation?
sesenic [268]

Answer:

3.5.

Step-by-step explanation:

3^2 = 9

and 4^2 = 16 so the square root is between 3 and 4.

Take a rectangle 3.4 by 3.6:

the area = 3.4 * 3.6 = 12.24 so an estimate of the square root could be 3.5.

3.5 * 3.5 = 12.25.

Badel has 120 cm³ of water he wants to pour into a rectangular base that is 4 cm high 40 mm wide and 5 cm long will all the wate
Elenna [48]
Yes all the water will fit and more because to find a volume of an object you multiple the height x length x width and in this case when all of it is calculated the base could hold 800 cm3 of water
