Answer: "Low mass star" and 'High mass star"

Explanation: A low mass star is one whose mass is less than half of the sun's entire mass. Here, the size is very small, temperature is very much cold and exist for a quite long period of time. It eventually dies out becoming a white dwarf, after exiting the main sequence.

A high mass star is the one whose mass is thrice more than the sun's entire mass. Here, the size is very big, temperature is significantly high and exist for a shorter period of time. It subsequently becomes a reddish colored enormous star and dies out forming a black hole or it could form a neutron star, after coming out of the main sequence.

Answer:

For the first blank ; low

For the second blank ;high

Explanation:

When a low-mass star leaves the main sequence, it becomes a red giant before creating a planetary nebula and becoming a white dwarf.

When a high-mass star leaves the main sequence, it becomes a red super-giant before creating a supernova and becoming either a neutron star or black hole.

What helps make different types of carbohydrates?
sergij07 [2.7K]

Answer:

glycosidic bonds between monosaccharides that combine to form polysaccharides

Explanation:

The building blocks of carbohydrates are individual monosaccharides (i.e., sugar molecules), such as glucose, fructose, glucuronic acid, galactosamine, glucosamine, etc.  These individual monomers of carbohydrates bond to form polysaccharides such as cellulose and starches. Monosaccharides form glycosidic bonds with an alcoholic OH group of a second monosaccharide to form a disaccharide (for example, lactose), and then these larger molecules bond together to form either linear or branched polysaccharides. Starch, for example, is a polysaccharide composed of monomers of glucose molecules.

Dogs and other mammals can fluff up or press down their fur to increase or decrease their insulation, respectively, which is sim
melomori [17]

Answer:

The correct answer is option B "It will become narrower (span a more narrow range of ambient temperatures)".

Explanation:

Dogs, and other animals with fur, use their pelage to increase the range of ambient temperatures that they can tolerate. The way they do it is by altering their fluffiness depending if they are exposed to cooler or heater temperatures. If a dog is shaved, its thermoneutral zone will become narrower. Therefore, the dog will not be able to live in extremal temperature conditions as it did before with its fur.
