Monocytes do not secrete antibodies. Monocytes are a type of leukocytes which are made in the bone marrow and travel through the blood to tissues where can be differentiated into macrophages and dendritic cells. Functions of monocytes are:

The nerve supply is through the hepatic plexus made up of sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves.
