The given statement, "Deposits of gold can be found in the deep ocean" is true.

Explanation:

According to the report of National Ocean service, oceans have nearly 20 million pounds of gold that are suspended in normal sea water to the tune of parts per trillion. Deep down the ocean floor, larger amount of gold are encased in rocks that could be mined. But mining in the deepest part of the ocean is not much cost efficient and would not bring any profits. Moreover, since gold will not get decomposed by salt water, it stays undisturbed on the ocean floor.

If mZDEC = (12x - 3), mZBCE =
kati45 [8]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

12x - 3 = 180 - (7x - 26) supplementary angles

19x = 209

   x = 11

m∠DEC = 12(11) - 3 = 129°

m∠BCE = 7(11) - 26 = 51°

M∠ADE = 129 - 72 = 57°  exterior angle rule

m∠EDB = 180 - 57 = 123° supplementary angles

m∠DBC = 57° corresponding angle to ADE

You have 3/4 of a pie leftover after your party. Each guest takes home 1/6 of the leftover pie.
Anika [276]

we know that

1) You have 3/4 of a pie leftover after your party

2) Each

guest takes home 1/6 of the leftover pie

To find the fraction of the original pie does each guest take home,

Multiply 3/4 by 1/6

so

\frac{3}{4} *\frac{1}{6} =\frac{3}{24}

<u>Simplify </u>

Divide by 3 both numerator and denominator

\frac{3}{24}=\frac{1}{8}

therefore

<u>the answer is</u>

\frac{1}{8}
