Answer:

All manifestations of mitosis noted so far occur in animal and plant cells, and there are two differences between them. Astral and anastral mitosis: In astral mitosis, the centrioles of the animal cell are involved in the fibers of the aster. Anastral mitosis, on the other hand, is when we don't find both centrioles and asters in plants.

The other difference is Cytokinesis: In animal cells, since there is no cell wall, there is a strangulation of the plasma membrane, and cytokinesis is called centripetal. In plant cells, due to the presence of a cell wall, it is not possible to have a strangulation division. What occurs is an agglomeration in the equatorial region of vesicles originated from the Golgi complex. These vesicles unite, forming a thin strip, separating the daughter cells. After this process, the synthesis of the cell walls extends from the center to the periphery, under the name of the centrifugal division.

Answer:

b) The hydrolysis of ATP helps "pay for the formation of a thioester involving CoA-SH.

Explanation:

In the citrate cycle, we know that lysis is mediated by the hydrolysis of ATP, which is the fuel of the reaction, so the correct answer is B. The hydrolysis of ATP helps "pay for the formation of a thioester involving CoA-SH.

Epithelial cells are most likely to be found where in your body?
sattari [20]

Answer:

Epithelial cells also line the inside of your throat, intestines, blood vessels, and all your organs. They are a barrier between the inside and outside of your body and are often the first place that is attacked by viruses as they begin their invasion deeper into the body.

Explanation:

Epithelial tissue covers the outside of the body and lines organs, vessels (blood and lymph), and cavities. Epithelial cells form the thin layer of cells known as the endothelium, which is contiguous with the inner tissue lining of organs such as the brain, lungs, skin, and heart.

lara [203]

The purpose of both mitosis and meiosis is to increase the number or population of cells in the body.

Compare mitosis and meiosis type of cell division

Mitosis produces two diploid (2n) cells that are identical to the original parent cell whereas meiosis produces four haploid (n) cells that are different from the original parent cell.

Mitosis occurs in somatic cells whereas meiosis occurs in reproductive cells.

So we can conclude that the purpose of both mitosis and meiosis is to increase the number or population of cells in the body.
