Students on the CARE Team are selling puppies, yes, puppies! They earn $0.40 on each puppy they sell. Their goal is to earn more

than $327. Choose the inequality to find the fewest number of puppies they can sell and still reach their goal. Also indicate what that number would be.

0.4 x >= 327 Divide by 0.4
x >= 327/0.4 which is not going to be an even number.
x >= 817. 5 puppies. So they need to sell 0.5 more puppies. Better round this quickly before someone decides to do something stupid to get the extra 1/2 puppy. For us it's simple. Just add a 1/2 puppy more.

x >= 818 puppies <<<<==== answer.

Vlad1618 [11]

Answer: x=−10

Step-by-step explanation:

x−3−2(x+6)=−5

x+−3+(−2)(x)+(−2)(6)=−5(Distribute)

x+−3+−2x+−12=−5

(x+−2x)+(−3+−12)=−5(Combine Like Terms)

−x+−15=−5

−x−15=−5

−x−15+15=−5+15

Use the marked parallel lines to find the value of y in the diagram below (1 point)
Inessa [10]
2x + 5 = 3x - 45                    [alternate interior angles]
3x - 2x = 5 + 45
x = 50

4y - 1 + 2x + 5 = 180                [supplementaly angles]
4y + 2(50) + 4 = 180
4y + 100 = 176
4y = 76
y = 19

The correct answer is:  [B]:  " \frac{(-3)(4)}{(6)} " .

Consider choice [A]:  \frac{(3)(4)}{(6)} ;
                              = \frac{12}{6} ;
                              = 2 ;  "2 ≠ -2" ; so we can rule out:  "Choice [A]" .

Consider choice [B]:  \frac{(-3)(4)}{(6)} ;
                              = \frac{-12}{6} ;

→ Let us proceed with the final answer choice ;

Consider choice [C]:  \frac{(-3)(-4)}{(6)} ;
