The answer is<u> "d.and then they arrived — the minister's family and all my relatives in a clamor of doorbells and rumpled christmas packages. robert grunted hello, and i pretended he was not worthy of existence?"</u>

Fish Cheeks was composed by Amy Tan, and is a short story from her very own involvement with the age of fourteen. Amy Tan was a youthful Chinese young lady, who really liked an American kid name Robert. This short story happens on Christmas Eve were Amy was stressed over what Robert would say in regards to her family's conventional Christmas Eve supper, since he isn't from her way of life. Amy's mom served every one of her top choices, but since it was anything but an American customary supper as she would like to think, she feared what Robert would state.
