Answer: 17.02 or 17

Step-by-step explanation: To get the hypotneuse of a triangle we have to follow the pythagorean theorem.

a² + b² = c²

8² + 15² = c²

65 + 225 = c²

290 = c²

\sqrt{290}

c = 17.02 or 17

I hope this helps!

Answer:

The length of the hypotenuse is the square root of 289 or 17 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

So the formula for finding the hypotenuse of any triangle is a square plus b square equals c square. 15 square plus 8 square is 289, You'd have to find its square root which equals 17 cm. If this helps, please rank Brainliest. Thanks!

Answer:

Rectangle shaped cross section is formed by intersection of plane and prism.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: A rectangular Prism.

To find: Shape of Cross Section when a plane intersect the prism diagonally

A plane intersect the Rectangular prism .i.e, Cuboid diagonally which means plane passes from top edge of cuboid to edge on bottom on opposite side.

Figure is attached.

In this way we get a Rectangular shaped Cross section which includes edges of cuboid and diagonals of the side faces.

Therefore, Rectangle shaped cross section is formed by intersection of plane and prism.

I think the answer is (4) because if you rotate AEC to the left (counterclockwise) and follow by the scale factor of 2 so, CE = 4x2 = 8 and CA = 3x2 = 6. Hope this help :))

Determine whether the triangles are congruent. Explain your reasoning .
Vanyuwa [196]

Answer:

The triangles are congruent by congruency theorem SAS.

Step-by-step explanation:

Side-Angle-Side, as it suggests, is when a triangle is congruent by the order of congruent side, congruent angle, and another congruent side. If named certain ways, they can be congruent. Since the question does not provide a specific way of naming the triangles, we can assume that any way is allowed. 2.5 and 2.5 are congruent, followed by angles D and G which have the congruent angle markers. The congruent angles are followed by 1.7 and 1.7, making the triangles congruent by Side-Angle-Side.
