You'll find the width using area formula
l × w = a
a stands for area, l stands for length, w stands for width

From the question,
a = 756
l = 108

Find the width
l × w = a
108 × w = 756
w = 756/108
w = 7

The roof is 7 inches wide

Length X width = area. for this problem, just divide the area of 756 sq. inches by the length of 108 in. to find the width.

Solving a right triangle ‼️ Can someone help me find A,a and c❓ (Round to the nearest tenth)
denis23 [38]

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of the 3 angles in a triangle = 180°

Subtract the sum of the given angles from 180 for A

A = 180° - (90 + 48)° = 180° - 138° = 42°

----------------------------------------------------------

tan48° = \frac{opposite}{adjacent} = \frac{18}{a}

Multiply both sides by a

a × tan48° = 18 ( divide both sides by tan48° )

a = \frac{18}{tan48} ≈ 16.2 ( to the nearest tenth )

-----------------------------------------------------------

sin48° = \frac{opposite}{hypotenuse} = \frac{18}{c}

Multiply both sides by c

c × sin48° = 18 ( divide both sides by sin48° )

c = \frac{18}{sin48} ≈ 24.2 ( to the nearest tenth )
