Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

We can see that for every time x changes by 2, y changes by 6

The rate of change is what will happen to y if you change x by one. To find this we take 6/2 and get 3.

f(x)=5xf(x)=5x and g(x)=x−3g(x)=x−3 Step 1 of 2 : Find the formula for (f+g)(x)(f+g)(x) and simplify your answer. Then find the
Sergeu [11.5K]

Answer:

(f+g)(x)=6x-3

domain is (-∞,∞)

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x)=5x

g(x)=x-3

(f+g)(x)=f(x)+g(x)

to find f+g(x) we add both function

Substitute f(x) and g(x)

(f+g)(x)=f(x)+g(x)

(f+g)(x)=5x+x-3=6x-3

(f+g)(x)=6x-3

Domain is the set of x values

here there is no restriction for x

so domain is the set of all real numbers

domain is (-∞,∞)

Find the side and measure B
valentinak56 [21]

When angle opposite to the unknown sides and other two sides are given then we use law of cosines

Law of cosine

c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab cos(c)

From the given diagram

AB^2 = CB^2 + AC^2 - 2(CB)(AC) cos( c)

CB = 108

AC= 55

Angle c= 59

AB^2 = 108^2 + 55^2 - 2(108)(55) cos( 59 )

AB^2 = 8570.34767

Take square root on both sides

AB = 92.6 m

To find out angle B we use sine law

\frac{sin(a)}{a} =   \frac{sin b}{b}  = \frac{sin c}{c}

\frac{sin b}{b}  = \frac{sin c}{c}

From the figure

\frac{sin B}{AC}  = \frac{sin C}{AB}

\frac{sin B}{55}  = \frac{sin 59}{92.6}

sin(B) = 0.50916647

B = sin^{-1}(0.50916647)

Angle B= 30.61 degrees

Help!!! I will give brainiest to whoever gets both
vesna_86 [32]

Answer:

She has to buy 48 inches of ribbon

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the pillow is a square with an area of 144. This means that all the side lengths must be the same. If we take the square root of 144 we get 12 which is the length of one side of the square. Because there are four sides to a square, we multiply this by 4. So 12 x 4 = 48 inches of ribbon.
