If each shirt needs eight buttons you find out what times (×) Eight equals (=) 80
8×10=80

Answer:

5 shirts.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the total number of shirts.

We have been given that each shirt needs 8 buttons, so number of button on x shirts would be 8x.

We are told that together the tailors attach 80 buttons. We can represent this information in an equation as:

8x=80

\frac{8x}{8}=\frac{80}{8}

x=10

Therefore, both tailors completed 10 shirts.

Since they split the work evenly, so Timor will complete half of the 10 shirts that is 5 shirts.

Therefore, Timor completed 5 shirts.

The ratios of the measure of two supplementary angles is 5:7. What is the
Rama09 [41]

Answer:

105 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

You first add 5 and 7 which gives you 12. Then, since two supplementary angles add up to 180, you divide 180 by 12 which gives you 15. Next, since 7 is the larger of the two, multiply 7 by 15 giving you 105. To check your work, subtract 105 from 180 giving you 75. Next, put this as a fraction- 75/105 and simplify giving you 5/7 which can also be written as 5:7.
