Dependent and Independent Samples. ... In short, when we have independent sampleswe assume that the scores of one sample do not affect the other. Independent samplescan occur in two scenarios. Testing the difference of the means between two fixed populations we test the differences between samples from each population. The answer will then be A or D. I cannot decide.

Continents float high because they are __________.
Simora [160]
The continents do not float on a sea of molten rock. The continental and oceanic crusts sit on a thick layer of solid rock known as the mantle. While there is a layer of liquid rock in the earth known as the outer core, this layer is about 3000 km below earth's surface and is separated from the surface by the thick solid mantle. The tectonic plates do not slowly drift over time because they are floating on a layer of liquid rock. They drift because they are sitting on a layer of solid rock (the upper mantle or "asthenosphere") that is weak and ductile enough that it can flow very slowly under heat convection, somewhat like a liquid.

Because of the doubts expressed by proponents of behavioral economics, most economists no longer apply the assumption that peop
mote1985 [20]

The correct answer is True

Economy is studying the behavior of each consumer. And this human behavior, it is important to emphasize, like almost everything in life, is made up of choices (options). These choices, due to the constant nature in which they appear in our lives, point, in the end, to the existence of these conflicts. So why then do conflicts occur? Precisely, because it is not always possible to meet the needs of each one, given the relentless existence of scarcity of resources. Here, there is a confrontation between the finite (resources) x the infinite (consumer wants and needs). In short: not enough of all goods are produced to meet all needs simultaneously (neoclassical theory).
