Ok... Perimeter is = 2l + 2w

w being width and l being length.

We know that perimeter is equal to 400 so

400 = 2l + 2w

The length is 15 meters less than the width, so in notations, l = w - 15

We can substitute than in the equation to get 2(w-15) + 2w = 400

Expanding will give 2w - 30 + 2w = 400

Solving w gives w= 430/4 = 107.5 meters

Substituting in original equation for w to find l, 400 = 2l + 2(107.5)

400 = 2l + 215

2l = 185

l = 92.5 cm

Or you can just use the question to know that the length is 15 times less than the width, so 107.5 - 15 = 92.5

Length = 92.5 cm

Width = 107.5 cm

36/48 in simplest form
babunello [35]
Well you can simplify them by dividing by there greatest common factor.
In this case they can both divide by 12!
Thats the biggest number they can divide by...
Soo..
36 ÷ 12 = 3
----------------
48 ÷ 12 = 4

So your answer is 3/4!

Good Luck! :)

Find the amount and present value of 10 quarterly payments of $ 1500, if the interest rate is 25% compounded each month.
BlackZzzverrR [31]

Given Information:

Monthly payment = MP = $1500/4 = $375

Monthly interest rate = r = 25/12 = 2.083%

Required Information:

Present Value = ?

Answer:

PV = \$10,110

Explanation:

n = 10*4

n = 40 monthly payments

The present value is found by

$ PV = MP \times  \frac{ (1 - \frac{1}{(1+r)^n} )}{r}  $

Where r is monthly interest rate.

MP is the monthly payment.

$ PV = 375 \times  \frac{ (1 - \frac{1}{(1+0.02083)^{40}} )}{0.02083}  $

PV = 375 \times (26.96)

PV = \$10,110

Therefore, $10,110 is the present value of 10 quarterly payments of $1500 each at 25% interest rate compounded each month.

I’m stuck on this problem
slavikrds [6]

The value of the f(-8) from the given f(x) is 1/53.

According  to the statement

we have given that the value of f(x) and with the value of this we hav eto find the value of f(-8).

So, For this purpose,

The given value of f(x) :

The function f(x) is

f(x) = 1 / x^2 -11

Now we find the value of the f(-8) then

For this put Put x is -8 in the f(x) then the equation become

f(x) = 1 / x^2 -11

f(-8) = 1 / (-8)^2 -11

f(-8) = 1 / 64 -11

f(-8) = 1 / 53.

here the value becomes 1/53.

So, The value of the f(-8) from the given f(x) is 1/53.
